Partilha da experiência de uma mãe minha amiga com a sua filha de 5 anos:

"Sentei-me ao lado dela...como faço sempre. Comecei... fez mil e uma perguntas como faz sempre... acho que ela adora que lhe conte histórias para depois eu contar-lhe ainda mais histórias das perguntas que ela me faz.

Quando terminei...perguntei-lhe:

- Então o que achas-te Beatriz? O livro fala de quê?

- O livro mãe...fala do Amor?

- De Amor Beatriz? Porquê?

- Porque o livro diz para darmos coisas aos outros... não ficarmos com tudo... isso também é Amor... não é mãe?

- Sim é verdade...

- Tem corações...até tem a J. e o bebé novo da Rita!!

- Tem??? Onde???

- Sim mãe...aqui... olha aqui ela com o mano ao colo... vês? Também é Amor!! A mãe desenhou aqui os Amores dela...como eu sou o teu Amor...

- oh mãe, ser amiga também é Amor?

- Sim, é...

- Então vou dar o livro a amiga Catarina...ela vai ficar tão feliz...

Por isso Rita quando uma criança de 5 anos acha que um livro é sobre Amor...é porque o teu livro para além de tudo, também partilha Amor :)"

Sharing the experience of a friend of mine with her 5 year old daughter:

"I sat next to her ... as I always do. I started ... she made a thousand questions as she always does ... I think she loves me to tell her stories and then I tell more stories of the questions she makes.

When I finished ... I asked her:

- So, what do you think Beatriz? Do you know what the book is about?
- The book is about... Love?
- Love, Beatriz? Why?

- Because the book says to give things to others ... not get it all... and that is also Love... isn't it mum?

- Yes it's true ...

- The book have hearts everywhere ... It even has Rita's J. and the new baby boy!

- It has?? But where??

- Yes mother... here... j. is here with her brother in her arms... see? Also is Love! Rita drew her loving babies here... as I am your Love...

- Oh mother, being a friend is also Love?

- Yes, it is ...

- Then I want to give my book to my friend Catherine ... she'll be so happy!!!


So Rita, when a 5 year old thinks a book is about love ... it's because your book, apart from everything, is about Love and Sharing :)"
